Wanderlust

How I miss...
Getting on the bus, watching the road passing by through the window

Going to the bookstore in the morning, and,
Taking a sip of coffee in the afternoon, talking about everything nonsense

Walking on the side road, joining the crowd of strangers

Watching the sun set in the night, when all the lights starting to blink

How I miss wandering,
And getting lost,
And falling in love with the city
When I laugh so hard because I have the best companion,
When I smile in my heart because I see a mother taking care of her child

These moments are when,
I feel rich even though I am poor,
I feel full even though I am starving

All I have now is routines
And I'm wondering why,

I feel poor even though I am rich,
I feel empty even though I am full

Jember Fashion Carnaval

I went to Jember last week for Jember Fashion Carnaval. It's basically a runway on the street, with people wearing unique costumes. And it's AMAZING!!! The costumes, shoes, makeup, acts, everything was so cool. This year, the main theme is Revival, with sub-themes garuda, olympic, hortus, chandelier, woods, techno cyber, paradisaea, and barong. I took a lot of photos, I know. I was having a hard time sorting it because there are so many costumes and I can't choose which one is better. Just try to scroll till the end, okay? If I have to pick, my favorite is the blue ones because they stand out so much. I think everyone must see this, Indonesian people can make creation like that!
